Amman – The Association of Banks in Jordan has received official accreditation from The Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB), a UK-based institution specializing in the development of professional standards in the fields of accounting and finance.

Under this collaboration, the Association has become an officially accredited center for administering IAB examinations, in addition to cooperating in the design and delivery of specialized training programs in partnership with IAB. This collaboration will also provide professionals in the Jordanian banking sector with the opportunity to obtain internationally recognized professional certifications in various fields, thereby contributing to enhancing their competencies and advancing their career paths.

This achievement comes as part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to expand the range of accredited professional certifications available in the local market and to strengthen cooperation with leading international institutions in the fields of training and professional accreditation—ultimately helping to improve the quality of education and qualification standards within Jordan’s banking sector.

The Association affirmed that this collaboration reflects its continuous commitment to developing human capital and enhancing competitiveness within the sector by offering training programs based on the highest global standards and best practices.
