On January 23, 2024, the Association of Banks in Jordan and The Green Circle Company held a workshop titled “New Trends in Cybersecurity in the Financial Sector.” Eng. Mohamed Al-Khudari, a business leader and IT expert and CEO of The Green Circle Company, delivered a lecture on the importance of cybersecurity in the financial sector. In the same context, Eng. Rami Al Damati, a consultant and trainer in advanced threats and information security operations, and Eng. Fayez Abu Shosha, a specialist in auditing and managing cybersecurity risks, covered other important topics. The workshop was attended by a large number of representatives from most member banks, including officials responsible for cybersecurity, governance, and cybersecurity risk management. This broad attendance reflects the strong interest and recognition of the importance of cybersecurity in this sector.

The workshop, which lasted for three hours at the association’s headquarters, aimed to provide participants with a deep understanding of emerging cybersecurity threats in the financial sector.
