Holds a PhD in Islamic Banks in 2006, He started his work in Jordan Islamic Bank since 1987 until now, more than (36) years’ experience in Islamic banking, where he held various administrative positions at Jordan Islamic Bank. He currently holds the position of the Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank and Member of the Board of Directors of a number of industrial, financial, educational, technical and insurance companies in Jordan.

Dr. Hussein is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hajj Fund and Member of the Jordanian Awqaf Board, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajloun National University. He has a special interest in the academic and training affairs; He has been a part-time lecturer at some universities and has participated in the discussion of several Master’s and PhD’s in Jordanian universities. Also he has designed and implemented several training programs. He served as board member of the Governance and Ethics Board at the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions) AAOIFI)/ Bahrain from 2016 till 2020, and served as a board member of Accounting and Auditing Standards at the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions)AAOIFI)/ Bahrain from 2007 till 2015.
